abstract:Chaetodon pelewensis also known as the dot dash butterflyfish, Spotbanded Butterflyfish, Punctato Butterflyfish, or Spot-band Butterflyfish is a fish species native to Indonesia and has a yellow-tan body. When it matures it becomes yellow dorsally with about seven vertical dark stripes on the upper half of the body, with rows of dark spots below.
