abstract:The Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA) (French: Authorite canadienne pour les enregistrements Internet ACEI) is the organization that manages the .CA country code top-level domain, the policies that support Canada’s Internet community and Canada’s involvement in international Internet governance.
For example, the CanadianInternetRegistrationAuthority (CIRA), which manages the dot-ca domain, should pass one million domain name registrations by early 2008, yet implementation of French language characters is only likely to take place in the next few years.
