abstract:In the year 1830 the "Father of Panjim", Dom Manual de Portugal e Castro developed a place by making it commercial from urban. This beautiful place situated approximately at a distance of 4 km from Panjim came to be known as "Campal" named after 'Campal de Dom Manual'.
