While I appreciate and respect the good intentions undertaken by those who list the ways in which they intend to improve themselves at the turn of the calender page, I believe that "buckling down hard" after weeks of holiday indulgence is the best way to ensure, not only failure, but a huge backfire just loaded with guilt.
