The film, a music-drama, is centred on a fading country singer's return to his hometown near a military base in Kentucky where several young men who were killed in a training exercise on the base were from.
Symphonic but light-footed, the band's Shut Up I Am Dreaming evokes pockmarked landscapes, as colorful melodies wander down blind alleys and over brokenbridges.
One cannot argue that we must reduce our deficit so that we do not leave our children worse off than our own generation while delivering to them a nation of broken down roads and bridges operated by systems that belong to an era that should already be relegated to history books.
