abstract:Bosideng International Holdings Limited () is the largest down clothing company in the PRC. It has 7,579 retail outlets selling down clothing under its six core brands including "Bosideng", "Snow Flying", "Kangbo", "Bengen" (previously known as "Bingjie"), "Shuangyu" and "Shangyu".
Bosideng is led by Chinese billionaire Gao Dekang, a member of the list of 25 Influential Chinese in Global Fashion published this year by Forbes China, the licensed Chinese-language edition of Forbes.
"We like investing in Chinese consumer-focused companies but, even among businesses in this attractive sector, there are no guarantees as declines in the fortunes of some Chinese sportswear brands is reflected in their continued buildup of inventory, " said George Raffini, managing partner at private-equity firm Headland Capital Partners, which bought a stake in down-apparel maker Bosideng International Holdings Ltd.
