abstract:Robert (Bob) Geoffrey Hewett Green AM (born 1925) is an Australian naturalist, photographer, conservationist and long-term Curator of the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery in Launceston, Tasmania.
Some of the things he has done smack of gimmickry, such as recruiting the poverty campaigner Bob Geldof and the green activist Zac Goldsmith as policy advisers (he even tried to enlist one prominent Labour backbencher).
