Reaching forward again, he grabbed hold of something soft. It felt familiar. Extremely familiar. He could feel something wet against his skin as he pulled himself forwards. Opening his eyes, he saw that he was on top of a dead man, slathered in the dead man's blood. He screamed, bile threatening to surface. He could see the man's eyes, lifeless. He could feel the heat slowly fading from the man, as all the life departed him.
