abstract:Barry Bergdoll is a Professor of architectural history in the Department of Art History and Archaeology at Columbia University and the Philip Johnson Chief Curator of Architecture and Design at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City.
The Berlin section, which has been directed by Terence Riley, chief curator of the department of architecture and design at MoMA, in collaboration with BarryBergdoll, professor of art history at Columbia University, is rich in the pre-1920s houses later written out of Mies's official history of himself.
