Barmac's Ardersier yard has been building two 'topside' deck modules for the floating rig being fabricated for the development of the Terra Nova field, on the Grand Banks, off Newfoundland.
At present, twelve Barmac workers have been employed in St John's, Newfoundland, where they were seconded on a joint venture with a Canadian partner in a yard there making a key component for Terra Nova.
