He also made a Christmas rum punch that included traditional herbs and a Bajan drink called Falernum, a sweet liquor believed to be invented in Barbados that is used in Caribbean and tropical drinks.
He urged those in the audience to use fresh ingredients whenever possible and for many of the drinks, such as the Bajan Sorrel, resting is required in order for the flavors of the herbs and spices to blend.
