Despite the misery-loves-company element of it, it's terrifically depressing. Inevitably, as practically anyone's would, your mind turns to law school. It seems sort of interesting. You don't really know what lawyers do, really, but you can figure it out along the way. It'll give you a credential, and heck, if you do well during your three years, maybe you'll land one of those law-firm jobs, like another buddy's dad, who works a lot and drinks a lot, yeah, but has a television the size of a garage door.
