Like other states, Florida's medical malpractice reform has changed the ultimate risk calculations for many business defendants by increasing the likelihood that higher courts will reverse disproportionately large jury awardsandother seemingly wacky court decisions on appeal.
But if results from many of the year's other award shows, including the Tonys, the Grammys and the Academy of Country Music Awards, are any indication, the Tiffany network has reason to be hopeful.
