abstract:In Greek mythology, the Amphilogiai (Ancient Greek: ; singular: Amphilogia) were goddesses of disputes. Hesiod's Theogony identifies them as the daughters of Eris ("strife") and sisters of Ponos ("toil"), Lethe ("forgetfulness"), the Algea ("pains"), Limos ("starvation"), the Hysminai ("fightings"), the Makhai ("battles"), the Phonoi ("murders"), the Androktasiai ("man-slaughters"), the Neikea ("quarrels"), the Pseudologoi ("lies"), Dysnomia ("lawlessness"), Atë ("ruin"), and Horkos ("oath").
