abstract:An aimag (, 14px []), originally a Mongolian and Turkic word meaning "tribe", is an administrative subdivision in Mongolia and in Inner Mongolia (China).
The project was ongoing from 2008-2010 and as shown in the below map, was implemented in 23 soums of Bayan-Ulgii and Uvs aimags from the western region, Dornod and Khentii from the eastern region and Khentii aimag from the central region.
