The change in our relationship was instantaneous. I don't think Jay left my side for more than a moment following the kiss of bliss. I'm sure that Beka and Jarryd noticed the difference, but they didn't say anything. Jay even held my hand while we snuggled up to watch a movie. Not that it made any difference because I fell asleep within twenty minutes of the movie starting, only to awake as the credits rolled. Nobody moved to turn the television off. After our wonderful, playful romp in the rain we were all pretty pooped. I got up and went into Jays bedroom, gathered all the blankets and returned to the den to plop them onto the floor. I then went back for the pillows.
