TWAS, theacademyofsciencesforthedevelopingWorld, is seeking nominations forthe TWAS 2012 Prizes which are aimed at honouring scientists living and working in thedeveloping countries.
Meanwhile Britain's main scientific academy, the Royal Society, and theAcademyofSciencesfortheDevelopingWorld, which has members from around 90 countries, are planning further discussions that will culminate at a meeting to be held this November.
The policy brief is being released concurrently with the first major report on the governance of geoengineering by the Solar Radiation Management Governance Initiative ofthe Royal Society, Environmental Defense Fund and TWAS (the academyofsciencesforthedevelopingworld).
