Yesterday I visited Code Academy and General Assembly, two well-funded startups just blocks away from each other in New York City that are on the front lines of making these skills attainable for a wide variety of people.
At 8am, the morning assembly at the Believers in Christ Christian Academy in downtown Milwaukee is packed with parents, some of whom make up the orchestra at what looks more like a gospel-singing service than the normal chaos of assembly.
