- 鲸鱼号：鲸鱼号（MV A Whale），是一艘利比里亚籍的除油船，船东为台湾的台湾海陆运输公司（TMT, Taiwan Maritime Transport，原名“信荣航运公司”）。此船由韩国现代重工业（현대중공업）于蔚山（울산）的造船厂所建造，2010年竣工下水，原做为载运铁矿砂与石油的货船。同年6月在葡萄牙进行改装，在船侧开凿数个吸水孔，可将受油污污染的海水吸入船内进行油水分离，再将处理后的水排回海中。2010年7月，该船开抵墨西哥湾海域，原预定在测试成功后与英国石油（BP）签约，以协助进行漏油事件发生后的除油作业，该船一天可处理50万桶（2100万加仑）的受污染海水。
