I laid there watching, my Blake struggling against the tree. His fangs were out and blood coated his lip, where they had scrapped. His eyes were blood red and were focused on me. All remnants of the man who loved me were gone. I was staring at a wild creature who had lost his mind. He wasn t human at all but what a vampire was. A monster, a sick twisted monster. I felt sick, very sick but I watched him anyway.
