abstract:Lahmacun (also lahmajun or lehmajun; ; ; from , , short for , , "meat with dough") is a round, thin piece of dough topped with minced meat (most commonly beef and lamb) and minced vegetables and herbs including onions, tomatoes and parsley, then baked. Lahmacun is often served sprinkled with lemon juice and wrapped around vegetables, including pickles, tomatoes, peppers, onions, lettuce, and roasted eggplant; a typical variant employs kebab meat or sauces.
"Whatever they do, they have to do it quickly because this uncertainty is hurting business, " the 41-year-old said as he kneaded dough to make lahmacun, a traditional Armenian pizza-style food.
