Measurements at another nuclear-power complex in the prefecture of Ibaraki, halfway between Fukushima and Tokyo, showed elevated radiation readings, officials said.
Localities including Tokyo and nearby Saitama and Ibaraki prefectures were reporting elevated levels of radiation Tuesday morning, though too low to cause injury.
