磁滞回线表示磁场强度周期性变化时，强磁性物质磁滞现象的闭合磁化曲线。它表明了强磁性物质反复磁化过程中磁化强度M或磁感应强度B与磁场强度H之间的关系。由于B=μ0(H+M)，若已知一材料的M—H曲线，便可求出其B—H曲线，反之亦然。式中μ0为真空磁导率。 磁滞回线是铁磁性物质和亚铁磁性物质的一个重要的特征，顺磁性和抗磁性物质则不具有这一现象。
