Last week, a student intern reportedly committed suicide at Chimei Innolux company in Foshan, a branch company of Hon Hai Precision Industry, which also owns Foxconn.
鸿海表示，工厂经理已经明确表示，公司会支付加班工资，“只会对那名挟怨策划这起非法行为的前员工采取法律手段”。
Hon Hai said its manager at the plant had made clear that the company would pay overtime and "take legal actions only against the disgruntled former employee who plotted this unlawful act".
鸿海管理人员拒绝就公司业绩前景置评。
Officials at Hon Hai declined to comment about the company's earnings outlook.
