鲳（butterfish），硬骨鱼纲鲈形目(Perciformes)鲳科(Stromateidae)鲳属(Pampus)鱼类的统称。又名车扁鱼、镜鱼。上等海产经济鱼类。体卵圆形，侧扁；尾柄短，头较小，吻短而钝，眼小，口小，前位。两颌牙细小，1行。腭骨、犁骨及舌上均无牙。食道有一侧囊，囊内具乳头状突起，密布小棘，基部有辐状骨质根。鳃耙粒状。体被小圆鳞。侧线上侧位，与背缘平行。
