驼背鱼 英文名： N.notopterus(Pallas);Humpbackfish 亦作featherback，亦称长刀鱼(knifefish)或弓背鱼。 驼背鱼科(Notopteridae, 即弓背鱼科)约5种呼吸空气的淡水鱼类的统称，见於非洲和东南亚的静水中。体长，鳞小，背鳍存在时亦形小，臀鳍狭长，沿腹缘之大部延伸并与尾鳍相连。波状运动沿臀鳍的全长进行，鱼体即可向前或向後游动。为夜间活动的掠食性鱼，在一些地区可供食用。最大者为大口驼背鱼(Notopterus chitala)，可长达约80公分(32吋)。光背鱼(Xenomystus nigri)有时养在水族箱中供观赏。
