马格里（Macartney Halliday 1833－1906），英国人，后加入中国籍，字清臣，以示对清廷之忠贞。马格里生于苏格兰，爱丁堡大学医科毕业。咸丰八年（1858年）随英国侵略军来华，任第99联队军医。在英军服役期间，他与当时的英国军官戈登建立起良好的私人友谊。第二次鸦片战争结束后，马格里辞去英军职务。
