陈尾，1937年生于揭阳古溪乡（今属揭阳市榕城区仙桥镇）。著名戏剧、潮剧演员，主要作品有《哪吒闹海》的哪吒，《辕门斩子》的杨宗保，现代戏有《红灯记》的李玉和，《沙家浜》的郭建光等。
文献罕见，但是汉代的考古文物中常常见到这样的图像，九尾狐作为西王母的一个动物扈从列侍(如图：西王母、九尾狐和其他侍从，公元1至2世纪四川墓砖，感谢四川大学陈霞)。
