"阿波罗"号飞船是美国第三代载人宇宙飞船系列。1966年至1972年共发射17艘：1 ~3号为模拟飞船，4 ~6号为不载人飞船，7 ~ 10号为绕地球或月球轨道飞行的载人飞船，11 ~ 17号为载人登月飞船。 “阿波罗”号飞船是美国实施载人登月过程中使用的飞船。“阿波罗”11号飞船于1969年 7月20～21日首次实现人登上月球的理想。此后，美国又相继6次发射“阿波罗”号飞船，其中5次成功，总共有12名航天员登上月球。
