所谓金属全冠也就是所说的牙套即使用一种金属材料将牙冠的四周包绕保护起来防止其发生劈裂等损害目前来讲常用的金属全冠制作方法是失蜡铸造法即先在石膏模型上雕刻出牙冠的蜡型再经过此后的包埋铸造等工艺制得此种方法的特点是形态恢复准确精确度高制得的修复体边缘密合经过粘接后不容易有细菌等异物侵入此前还有使用锤造方法制作的金属全冠不论是边缘密合度还有形态恢复上都与铸造金属全冠有较大的差距现在基本上已经淘汰
方法：选择牙根分叉较大的磨牙残冠残根，经完善根管充填后，制作分体栓道式铸造桩核，然后精密铸造金属全冠修复。
