金粟兰（学名：Chloranthus spicatus (Thunb.) Makino），是金粟兰科金粟兰属植物，多年生常绿草本或半灌木花卉。直立或稍伏地，高30～60厘米。叶对生，倒卵状椭圆形，边缘有钝齿，齿尖有一腺体；叶面光滑、浓绿，稍呈泡状皱起。穗状花序顶生，成圆锥花序式排列。花小，两性，无花被，黄绿色，有浓郁的兰花香味。花期8-10月份。 主要分布于中国云南、四川、贵州、福建、广东等地；生长于海拔150-990米山坡、沟谷密林下。 金粟兰花金黄色，枝叶青翠，香似兰花，宜盆栽。花和根状茎可提取芳香油，鲜花极香，掺入茶叶，称珠三茶，全株可入药。 （概述图参考资料： ）
