配位的概念：维尔纳假定化学亲和力乃是在空间各方向同等作用的力，在呈现主价与副价的作用上没有区别。在这种力的作用下，每一原子就倾向于使它自己均等地被原子或原子团包围，此后，这些原子或原子团就直接的与这个作为吸引中心的原子相联。这种原子或原子团被中心原子所吸引的现象，维尔纳称之为配位。 ◎ 配位，(1)加上而使成为，(2) 用配价键结合。
