连续工龄，是指依法能够连续计算之工龄，它包括本单位工龄以及依法可连续计算的以前在其他单位的工龄。 职工在一个工作单位连续工作的时间。连续工龄，又称为“本企业工龄”。1987年以后，它的范围不限于在一个单位工作的时间，而是包括职工在各个单位按规定应计入的全部工作时间。
