中国“过程装备与控制工程专业”的前身是“化工机械专业”，成立于20世纪50年代初期。自成立以来，已曲曲折折地走过了近50年的路程。专业初创时期，以苏联模式为蓝本，我们的前辈呕心沥血，把中国的化工机械专业办得初具规模、培养了一大批化工机械专业教学、科研、设计、制造与使用的中坚力量。
