辐射化学（radiation chemistry），或radiochemistry，此学科起源在19世纪末20世纪初，贝克勒尔于1896年发现铀化合物所发射的辐射，能使底片感光变黑。其后皮埃尔·居里及居里夫人则在镭的相关研究中，进一步发展了辐射化学的研究。辐射化学是研究普通的化学变化，所有元素不稳定的同位素经历放射性衰变及放射性物质的产生（称为放射性同位素）。
