轮回亲本，是指在回交时的亲本。回交是指两个亲本杂交产生的杂种再与亲本之一进行杂交。一般在第一次杂交时选具有优良特性的品种作母本，而在以后各次回交时作父本，这亲本在回交时叫轮回亲本。
