距离加权法（weighted distance method）是一种以某单元的品位与周围毗邻工程的品位有一定空间函数关系为依据的储量计算方法。即某单元品位值可用周围一定范围内不同距离点的品位进行估计，距被估点越远的品位所起作用越小，因而用距离d的倒数幂次方对各点品位加权求该单元的平均品位，公式为C=∑ni=1ci(1dm)∑ni=1(1dm)(m常用1-2)对该点品位估计值的影响范围常用半径r的圆表示，半径可由经验法或图解法求得。与三维矿块模型结合使用时，用此法求矿块平均品位，再根据矿块体积求取矿石量后，易于求得矿床矿石及金属储量。由于计算量大，常用专门程序在电子计算机上完成计算任务。此法在欧美等西方国家有所应用。
