资产成本是指企业筹集和使用资产而支付的各种费用。概念中筹集资金所支付费用，如委托金融机构代理发行股票和债券的注册费、代办费，向银行借款支付的手续费等简称资金筹集费用。为了维系简单再生产一个最基本的原理便是：企业在一定期间发生的生产经营耗费必须从该期间的收入中得到补偿，否则企业的简单再生产就无法为继，其中为正确地计量资产价值的计算的成本统称为资产成本。
