中国古代商人集团。居于陕西和山西一带﹐故名。明清时期﹐与徽商并雄﹐为当时两大主要商业资本集团之一。陕西﹑晋南都是著名的农业区﹐自然条件优越。明清时期的山陕商人﹐以此地的农业及其它资源为基础﹐逐渐形成巨大的地方商业集团。此后又与高利贷资本结合﹐出粟收息﹐发放母子钱﹐由是扩展为商业资本。
