萨克森人（英语Saxon；德语Sachsen），日耳曼蛮族之一，早期分布于今德国境内的尼德萨克森（Niedersachsen）附近。5世纪中期，大批日耳曼人从北欧渡海侵略不列颠岛，其中包括盎格鲁人（Angles）、朱特人（Jutes）和萨克森人。史学界为了方便区分，把来到不列颠岛并定居下来的萨克森人，称为撒克逊人。而萨克森人则留在德国境内，后被法国的查理曼大帝征服。
