莫洛夫，湖南省衡南县人。1949年离乡去台湾，1996年移居加拿大。创世纪诗社成员之一，现代诗诗人。淡江大学英文系毕业，1973年曾任教东吴大学外文系。1954年与张默、痖弦共同创办《创世纪》诗刊，并任总编辑多年，作品被译成英、法、日、韩等文，并收入各种大型诗选，包括台湾出版的《中国当代十大诗人选集》。
