船舶推进器，是指船舶推进装置中的能量变化器。它将发动机产生的动力转变成船舶行进的推力，以克服船舶在水中航行的阻力，推动船的行进。最常见的是螺旋桨，此外还有明轮、喷水推进器、喷气推进器、导管推进器和平旋推进器等。广义上讲，推进器也包括依靠人力或风力驱动船舶前进的篙、桨、橹、纤和帆等。
