兴奋性突触后电位 (excitatory postsynaptic potential )简称EPSP。是兴奋性神经递质作用于突触后膜而产生的电位。神经冲动传入神经末梢时,兴奋性神经递质与突触后膜的受体结合,提高了膜对离子的通透性。这促使膜外的钠离子迅速内流,造成膜内钠离子急剧增加,膜内电位高于膜外,引起突触后膜的去极化.膜电位降低。是突触后膜产生兴奋的表现。
