系脑肿瘤的一种，均为继发性恶性肿瘤。主要来自肺部、乳腺的癌瘤；此外，消化道、肝、胰、子宫、卵巢、甲状腺、肾上腺、前列腺、肾、骨骼等恶性肿瘤及肉瘤等均可转移至脑。多发生在大脑半球的顶枕叶区。肿瘤可为单发，也可为多发，发展快、病程短。临床表现主要为脑组织的定位症状及邻近组织受侵及与压迫症状；同时有原发灶及全身恶病质表现。治疗效果不佳。
