胡营位于二十里铺镇政府驻地东北5.5公里处。胡营村委会驻地。全村158户，659人，汉族。地属平原，耕地1193亩，以农业为主。主产小麦、玉米。个体私营业户32个。2006年全村人均纯收入5050元。
从胡家营的推覆构造可推知汉南地块东南缘北东向构造带，应属于中生代以来所形成的推覆体构造。
