胃热，即是胃火。中医分为热郁胃中、火邪上炎和火热下迫等。多由邪热犯胃；或因嗜酒、嗜食辛辣、过食膏粱厚味，助火生热；或因气滞、血瘀、痰，湿、食积等郁结化热、化火，均能导致胃热（胃火）；肝胆之火，横逆犯胃，亦可引起胃热（胃火）。
