肺根为出入肺门的所有结构的总称，包括主支气管、肺动脉、肺静脉、支气管动脉、支气管静脉、神经、淋巴管、淋巴结等，借疏松结缔组织联结，由胸膜包裹组成。肺根长10mm左右。左侧肺根自上而下依次是肺动脉、左支气管和下肺静脉；右侧依次是上叶支气管、肺动脉、右主支气管和下肺静脉。由前向后两侧均依次为上肺静脉、肺动脉和主支气管。
