结球白菜（pekinensis)，十字花科，芸薹属，一年生草本植物，又称大白菜、黄芽菜、包心白菜。叶球耐运输贮藏，品质柔嫩，可供炒食、煮食、凉拌、做馅或加工腌制，是中国特产蔬菜之一。主要产区在长江以北、种植面积占秋菜面积的30%~50%。
