终碛（end till） 又称前碛或尾碛。是冰川暂时稳定时期在冰川前端的堆积物。由于堆积作用在冰川末端的一定位置连续进行，逐渐加厚增高，常形成弧状冰碛堤，称终碛堤。终碛可以指出冰川停滞的立置和停滞的时间，是冰川地貌中的重要特征。终碛堤中砾石的排列方向基本与终碛堤平行。构成终碛堤的物质是由冰川上游传递而来；一部份冰碛物则在冰川前进过程中，沿途携带捕获而来；若碎屑来源丰富则形成规模巨大的终磕堤；古老的终碛常被后期的冰川或冰融水所侵蚀破坏与掩盖。
