细菌生长曲线（Bacterial growth curve）是专指单细胞微生物的。它是将少量的单细胞微生物接种纯种到一定容积的液体培养基后，在适宜的条件下培养，定时取样测定细胞数量。以细胞增长数目的对数做纵坐标，以培养时间做横坐标，绘制一条如图所示的曲线，我们称这条曲线为细菌的生长曲线。
